Key Care Requirements
Light:
Provide bright, indirect light to maintain variegation. Direct sun will burn the variegated areas.
Watering:
Water when the top half of the soil is dry, or roughly weekly. The plant appreciates consistent moisture but is susceptible to rot if left soggy. Drooping or curling leaves indicate a need for water.
Humidity & Temperature:
Prefers high humidity > 60% but can adapt to average household levels. Thrives in temperatures between 18 – 30 C / 65 − 82∘F
Soil & Potting:
Use a well-draining, chunky mix, such as a combination of coco peat, orchid bark, perlite, and charcoal.
Fertilizer:
Feed monthly with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half-strength during the growing season (spring/summer).
Support:
Providing a moss pole or trellis mimics their natural climbing environment and can encourage larger foliage.
