Key Care Requirements
Light:
Bright, indirect light is essential for the variegation; too little light makes them leggy, while too much sun burns the leaves.
Watering:
Allow the top 1–2 inches of soil to dry out between waterings, as they are susceptible to root rot. Water less frequently in winter.
Humidity & Temperature:
Thrives in 60%-80% humidity. Use a humidifier, pebble tray, or group with other plants. Ideal temperatures are 18 C - 26 C / 65 – 80 F. Avoid cold drafts and air conditioner vents.
Soil & Potting:
Use a well-draining, airy mix, such as potting soil mixed with perlite, orchid bark, or vermiculite.
Fertilizer:
Feed sparingly with a diluted liquid fertilizer once a month during spring and summer; skip feeding in winter.
